Who knows a good gunsmith in Houston ?

I need to find a gunsmith to install a barrel insert and new parts in my great grand father's 1909 Remington model 12 rifle. If you know someone please let me know.

Wow, nice rifle. are you positive it needs an insert? I have seen very few .22 barrels "shot out"

Call Fountain Firearms in Sugarland. They should know of one

I took some pictures and will upload them. The last time the rifle was used was 1956 by my father when he was in high school. At that time the rifle was worn out according to him. I know it needs a new extractor. I have not taken it apart because it means so much to me as a family heirloom. Once someone looks at it and recommends a path forward I will break it down.
