For those of you who do not know, Governor Owens is signing both a pre-emption bill and a will issue CCW bill for Colorado today.
As such, DFUSE will be offering a CCW seminar. This will be one day of class plus another day where there will be some range instruction and a shooting test. The Classroom portion will be on Saturdays, likely starting the first Saturday in May and continuing until all persons wanting the course are accomodated. The course fee will be $125 and will be a very comprehensive CCW overview and will satisfy the new CO CCW law training requirements. My instructors include attorneys, police officers, trainers, competitors and several with years of CCW experience. We have been teaching CCW in Colorado for over 4 years and our courses are well developed.
Additionally, I will be offering a GT only Tactical Pistol/CCW course offered only to GT members. But, unfortunatley, NO BEGGINERS! You will have to have had either another pistol course or have shot, IDPA, or ISPC. It will be a more in depth course greatly exceeding the law requirements, but well worth it. It will be a full day at the range. But you will also have a textbook and homework to do before range time. I normally charge $275 for this course but will be offering it to the first 10 GTers for $100/person. It will also get you the training requirment for the new CCW law.
