Go with the 580 glass. It really helps your eyes see things clearly. Go to academy and try on the 580 and 400 styles back to back. It is a big difference. Try the green tint over brown. Very nice soothing to aging eyes.

Same here (more like 20 years). I was going to jump in and say polycarb but stopped to ask what you want to use them for? Driving or seeing fish under the water?

Never cared for the weight of glass and had a pair that about drove me insane seeing ghosts.

Driving, fishing, shooting and since I live in Florida, I wear them year round when outside.

I've abandoned them for lighter frames with rubber nose pieces.

I've got the 580's. They are a little heavier than the polycarbs but they sure as hell don't scratch like polycarbs. Just wiping sweat off of them throughout the day will cause scratches if you aren't real careful. It's a non-issue for glass. I work on white roofs for a living and play on the water. If it's daylight I've got my Costas on.

I have a pair of the Catalina Model (discontinued) polycarb for 9 years and have no scratches.
