I went to see an Orthopedic Surgeon today,I have had problems with my left shoulder for several years and it has over the last year really bothered me. I have arthritis so bad that I have bone on bone, I will be scheduled for a total shoulder joint replacement, not sure when the surgery will be but will keep all informed.

You are in my thoughts and prayers always, Dinky! Shoulder anything involving pain is the WORST!!!! I had bursitis in my shoulder a few years ago, and had to undergo physical therapy. It was so painful it was :puking: kind of pain! :wow:
I can't even imagine anything beyond that!

:hugs:

Advice:
For a TSR it is all about Rehab and your followthroiugh with the home exercise program
The surgery is 25% and should be done by an EXPERT fellowship trained in shoulder replacement who does at least 50/year!

The rest is up to U! :) Good luck

Well this sucks, joint replacement put off two months. Got cleared from my primary care Dr. Yesterday and saw my cardiologist on Wednesday. Found out I have A-Fib and she says the should not be a problem but wanted to do a stress test. So I go back that afternoon for the stress test and in the middle of it the A-Fib went into 2 to 1 A-Flutter, two beats for every one in the other chamber. Am now on some heavy duty blood thinner and beta-blocker. I go back next Wed. to see how things are doing. Getting old is not for wimps....

Best of luck with the surgery. I have had two shoulder surgeries. It is typically a longer recovery and it is incredibly important you follow the physical therapy exercises. You don't want too much scar tissue to build up. Not only will it limit your range of motion but it'll cause you future pain.

I've also had 10 surgeries on my left knee--- I'm well versed in scar tissue :steamed:.

The moral of my story is don't jump out of airplanes.
