Magazine markers

Im wondering if you guys put markers on your mags..and if you do, what do you use or how do you do it? Stickers/tapes/engraving/etc...

I've started putting a dab of "white out" over a different round count hole in the back of each mag. Since the holes start at "4" I'll have 4,5,6,7 or 8 marked on my G17 mags. At least I can tell them apart that way!
