More liberal indoctrination of our kids.
Last Monday, a high school student in North Carolina engaged his social studies teacher in a heated debate about politics and the two leading presidential candidates. During the exchange, the teacher (an obvious Obama supporter) got very angry with the student and accused him of disrespecting the president. She even went so far as to tell the boy that he could be jailed for speaking ill of Obama.

Not far from the truth. Ted Nugent got a visit from some govt. boys because of what they considered as untoward remarks he made about the squatter currently residing in the white house. When the squatter says "Jump!," those boys only ask, "How high?" Then they are out the door to do their master's bidding. So, the teacher could be speaking more truth than anyone wants to admit.

Ted Nugent made remarks that could be considered a threat against the president.

That's very different than just complaining about that marxist bastard that lives in the White House.

Simple. Arrest the teacher, in front of the class, Hold him for 23 hours, release on his own accord. And if he resists, even a little, taze the bozo.

A teacher cannot use their classroom as a soapbox to spout forth there personal opinions.

This behavior and lack of classroom control should get this teacher called in, written up if not fired.

if a teacher does not have tenure they are an "at will" employee. They can be fired or non-renewed by the principal with out reason. "We do not need you services any more... give me you keys and get you stuff and Mr. Jones will escort you to you car." Depends on the state as to the power of the union. Been there done that.

Holy feces, Batman!

Did anyone else compare that classroom 'learning environment to theirs? I mean,. we all did graduate from high schools, right? Were your classes as expertly run, as orderly, as conducive to learning as THAT one?

I did some digging.

The official school website is http://www.rss.k12.nc.us/index.php/Schools/School_NRHS_teacher/345

I then went to the staff pages, figuring there can't be many social studies teachers at this school. The teacher on the tape is female, so that narrowed the list down more.

My money is that this is Mrs. Wells, history teacher:

http://new.schoolnotes.com/welllsam

If you want some fun, read her course outline:

http://new.schoolnotes.com/files/welllsam/UnitedStatesHistory.doc

Class Constitution
Preamble
I, the teacher of this US History Class, in order to form a perfect classroom environment, grade fairly, insure school tranquility, promote a good attitude, and secure the blessings of education to you and your peers, do ordain, and establish this constitution for the classes of Mrs. Wells.

Gag me.

Improper usage of electronical devices will negatively impact your participation grade.
Obviously not a spelling teacher.

Article 3: Behavior
Section 1- Respect
Respect for the teacher and every classmate is to be shown at all times. This is not an option. It is something that will be done in this class.
Ah, “respect.” Oddly, there is nothing in the Constitution (real or imagined) about showing respect to the President of the US.

Amendment Two- A student will not be penalized for any opinion they have, as long as the express it in a respectful manner and allow others to do the same.
Seems reasonable, until you learn that any opinion critical of the teacher’s favored elected officials is, by definition, disrespectful.

Amendment Seven- This will be kept at the front of your notebook to refer to.
Hey, she teaches history, not english!

UPDATE: Apparently the teacher is one Tanya Dixon-Neely:

OH, and here, for your entertainment: http://thepeoplescube.com/peoples-blog/comrade-tanya-dixon-neely-needs-our-help-t9023.htmlI had a couple of teachers who were completely incompetent. One was a stoner--we called her Miss Mini-Fried, a play on her last name, and on the state of what was left of her neural circuitry. Another was an English teacher who could barely speak English. She also thought it hysterically funny that a 13 year old provincial hillbilly, such as myself, didn't know what a "Red Light District" was; a real gem that teacher.

That was 35+ years ago, but then again, Massachew****s jealously guards its place among the libtard avant-garde.

If not for a few really fantastic teachers, and being reasonably well gifted with heuristic reasoning abilities, I'd have been... how you say in America... ****ed? In retrospect I owe the bad teachers a debt of gratitude; if not for their tender mercies, I would not have done in 3 years what most take 4 to do. Thanks you liberal dopes! :wavey:

Even as a dumb kid I realized that "education" had nothing to do with my time in high school.

Hard to take it seriously when one teachers wife dumps his clothes on the front lawn of the school while yelling that she found out about his affair with another teacher.

Hard to take it seriously when one of the teachers blows himself up, (ala Richard Pryor) while freebasing.

Hard to take it seriously when they "import" 4 Black kids to "integrate" a school of 1,200 students, and yet ALL of the faculty and staff, with the exception of 2 foreign language teachers, are WASPs.

Hard to take it seriously when you know that your new school was built on land reclaimed from a "Native American" burial area, and the teach you about respecting minority rights.

Hard to take it seriously when you sneak off at lunch (closed campus) to go to a fast food place and run into a faculty member, coming out of the liquor store, and you agree not to "snitch" on each other.

Hard to take it seriously when the Administration has given up on "locker inspections" because they are too embarrassing given the drug and alcohol program, and the local PD sets up a "roadblock" down the street to catch kids coming out of school under the influence.
