I'm looking at a new Glock 26. My store doesn't have one in stock with night sights, can it be ordered from the factory with them?

Why not buy some better tritium sights instead? E.g. Ameriglo.

I have yellow rear green front Tru Dot night sights on my 26. Lonewolf installed them for a nominal $8 charge. I sent the slide in and got it back about 11 days(?) later.

I think these days I'd buy any new gun sans NS.
Aftermarket options are better than factory - IMHO.

A gen 4 cannot be ordered with anything but standard non night glock sights. Gen 4 is the only way to go with this. What u can do, and what I have done SEVERAL times is buy the gen 4 and mail the slide to Glockusa in Smyrna GA and they will install factory meprolight night sights with a 15 year warranty onto your pistol! And it will only cost you 57 bucks and Glock will pay to ship it back to you. Most people don't know or share this info. So do it!

I installed a CT Laser on mine. Clearly, lots more expensive, but the age of my eyes...well. Holsters both pocket and IWB & OWB available.

I love the Ameriglo I-dots. Tritium plus glow-ring paint on the front sight are a great combo, IMHO. I really like the green sight, and Eric at Ameriglo says lots of the older shooters love it, too.

+1 for Ameriglo. I have their Operator yellow rear, green front on my 26 and on my 17. The rear dots are black rimmed and blend in during the day. Very high quality sights, with Trijicon vials.

Does glock install the low pro mepros if you send the slide to them.

You could try the XS standard dot. I really like the rear line only and the shape but there are so many good night sight options.

I know some people like these... but the white dot is way too big for me. I prefer a small dot in a black blade.

I have the orange Trijicon HD sights on my 26. They're bright, easy to acquire a good picture, and built to be abused.

Phil are the orange as bright as the green? Anyone else know?

My Talo EXO G27 came NIB with Ameriglo I-Dot Pro NS.

The sights in darkness are green (trijicon) but the outside is
red/orange on the front for daylight. They do look great.
The front sight really pops.

I'm a CQC Close Quarters Combat guy myself.
So I switching them to Big Dots.

The orange is simply a photoluminescent paint. There it a tritium vial inside the orange dot as well. The orange dot will glow when charged with light. The tritium will glow for its lifespan.

Heinie 3-Ds. I put my eyes behind about a dozen different sights for glocks before I fell in love with these. Sights are a very personal option. Good luck!

P.S. I hated the XS big dots too. I wanted to like them, I really did, but I couldn't get worth a damn with them, and I sure tried.

Is it Heinie that advertises something about being able to rack the slide on your pants if your dominant hand is wounded in battle? I'm more confused about what sights I want!!

Did you install them yourself or did the place you bought them from do it? Is the installation different from say mepros or trijicons?

Will you take a picture from the top of the slide so I can see how farther extend forward?
