Marlin-Glenfield father and son target pics

My boy's first shot with a 22. Rested it on an archery foam cube at 7 yards while he kneeled. He was happy with his first shot and called it a day.

I went back out with the same gun and did 10 shots at 50 yards, standing off-hand, 3"group. I've had this Marlin-Glenfield bolt action since I was 12. My son is 6 and we've already done some BB gun shooting instruction of course :)

Yeah, my indoor/outdoor cat was laying on the table that I wanted to use to take the pics, so I just left her there :rofl:

Nice shooting and that is a sweet rifle! I had a Glenfield model 25 years ago, I regret selling it...to this day I refuse to sell or trade a gun because of it!
