Ny-1 ?

Would it benefit me to put in a NY-1 into my g19 stock? for safety reasones? i carry 24/7, no problems with the gun.no problems with the trigger.. just for a little xtra security of it being discharged accidentaly.... again ty very much for taking time to answer our questions.

Big advantage of NY-1 replacing standard trigger spring in conjunction with standard 5.5 pound connector is firm pull resistance from the beginning of the trigger stroke. This can indeed help prevent a premature discharge.

Huge advantage is that if opposing counsel tries to say you fired by (unjustifiable) accident instead of with justifiable intent, they're going to have a HELL of a time convincing the jury you were negligent if the gun had the NY-1 on board.

Another advantage is that the NY-1 seems to be a good bit sturdier than the standard trigger spring.
