View Full Version : RIA 3.5" and HP's
I've been looking at a RIA with a 3.5" barrel for a while now. Does anyone here have one, and is it dependable feeding Hollow Point ammo, +p, any input? seems like like nice gun for the price, basic parkerized finish, battle sights. i don't have the money for a kimber or a $1000 gun, if they are not that reiable maybe i'll go back to glock:dunno:

See the above thread.
I teach new shooters all the time, it has been my experience that sub 4'' 1911s are generally (not all, I know) not reliable guns. YMMV.

Mine has never jammed and I've ran quite a few of several different HP rounds through it. Great CC 1911 for the money.

I have the exact same gun, with the exact same grip and the exact same experience with mine.
I had one that I traded for an FNP 40 because I didn't like the skimpy sights. It was reliable with 230 Golden Sabers, 185 Gold Dots and 230 grain SB Gold Dots.
