Right now people look at Pelosi and Obama's unholy alliance and think that the Democrats have turned into Euro-style Social Democrats. With Republicans having a good chance of securing the House, Senate, and Presidency in November, moderates need to keep voicing differing opinions in public or else there will be long-term damage done to the DNC's ability to accomplish anything in Congress.
