I'm sure a full rail would be a nice shooter and a great bump in the night pistol, but why pay the coin for a gun you'd never want to carry?

It does look beefy cool

Who says I won't want to carry? Maybe I need a railed weapon
for night home defense. Maybe I just need a range toy. Maybe
I just have coins falling out of my butt.

Why ask why?

Normally I don't like a rail on a 1911 but, the full rail on that is intriguing.

I have a TRP operator. I can't praise it enough. It was my first (and only) 1911 and I couldn't be happier with it. I know there are more expensive 1911s out there, but I'm am fully content with the TRP.

Had one, sold it. They shoot very well, just not for me.

also front checkering is not at all comfortable to me or a few other people I know who've shot it, so at least handle it beofre you buy.

I do still at times consider buying a pro rail if i can ever find one in stock

Man, I love the checkering. Ive put thousands of rounds through it over the last few years and its great. It feels like the gun grabs you back when you grab it.

I should next week! I've been doing business with a large GS in the next town, 30 min drive. I gave him a few day's and all i hear is he let his dealers know, and they don't have one. Not wanting to wait since Buds Guns e-mailed my wish list that they had some. I purchased one on line today. And one of their preferred dealers is a pawn/gun shop 5mins from my house, i stopped by and they have a $10 dollar transfer right now. Needless to say i'm one happy camper, and saved alot not paying tax.:dancingbanana:

It runs 100%. In fact followup shots are quicker and the gun feels like its softer with less recoil. I can group better with it on. lol

I shoot it alot in this video. (bad language warning)

I'm going to do a tabletop review of it soon.
