OSHA shooting range ruling points to agenda besides worker safety
David Codrea
Gun Rights Examiner

.."That, in fact, fulfills a speculation made by Gun Rights Examiner in August, 2009, when this column predicted “OSHA pick Michaels will use 'public health' scheme to 'regulate' guns.” "..

Nothing knew! Backdoor regulations that violate all common sense is the norm for the gun grabbers. Answer go back to Open air gun ranges. Negates just about all there health concerns. But we all know that will not fly cause they'll find something wrong with that too. They will never be satified until all gun are outlawed one way or another.:steamed:

They pushed for leadfree bullets - still not happy!
They pushed to close outdoor ranges for- noise abatement -still not happy!

Sorry but I can't get too excited about this. These aren't new rules and there are thousands of shooting ranges in this country that don't seem to have a problem following the rules.

This.

From the article:

The citation, issued on June 6, also included what OSHA defines as “serious violations” that “include failing to implement a hazard communication program, train workers on hazardous …label chemical bottles…administer an effective hearing conservation program, train in the use of personal protective equipment and implement a respirator protection program...”

These are some of the rules that most every business needs to deal with regarding employee safety. If you want to operate a gun range, you need to follow the rules, especially the ones that are generally applicable to all businesses.
