View Full Version : I've come to the other side
Just put money down on my first 1911. Don't know much about them but from what I read this one is pretty nice. It only took about 2 months for it to show up at my LGS.
It is a Sig RCS 2 tone:

Looks great! Enjoy!

Nice sig. Congrats
Yeah, it is already going to cost me $200 for a holster to carry it ( decided to go with one from Seth's gunleather). At least it already has night sights.

Whats wrong with .38 super? I've yet to have an issue with my kimber.

Nice sig. Congrats
Lol yes this is the truth. Addiction comes fast and before you know it you have bought a couple more, and each one probably costs more than the previous. Congrats though, and I have been wondering about the Sig 1911's because my dealer has a couple in his shop. Anyone got any input on them? Thanks

What's wrong is that you ended up buy more and more of them. That's what's wrong.

Yeah but the same thing happens with glocks.

Its true, i just picked up an SR1911, my first 1911, two weeks ago and I am already shopping for another. I should have known better...:crying:
Congrats, very nice. Everyone is right, though. One 1911 always leads to another, plus, it seems that there is always other "stuff" we need to accompany each new buy.
The Sig 1911's are very good I had one of there TacOps models but got bored with it. I sold it and bought a g35 and enough bullets/brass to load 2,000 rds. of .40. I put somewhere north of 750 rds. through that sig in the three months I had it without a single malfunction.

Not really. I have probably 15 M1911s now, but only two Glocks and don't plan on buying any more of the Austrian Abortion.
Congrats on a nice pistol.
Two tone very attractive. Welcome to the slippery slope.
The slope is getting slipperier. Here is the first 100 rounds @25ft:

Very nice gun! I have one in the 2 tone as well but mine is the TTT. Very accuate and NEVER a problem in the 400 rounds that I have shot through it.
