25 LPI Front Strap

I sold my TRP because I didn't like the feel of the 20 LPI front strap. I was thinking about getting a DW ECO but it has a 25 LPI front strap. How does the feel of 25 LPI compare to the 20 LPI ? I ask the question because there are none in my area so i will have to buy it without holding it first . I made that mistake buying the TRP but I only lost $50 selling it.

Yeah I have a TRP and when I first got it I thought it was rather aggressive. Today I was holding it and have noticed it does not seem as aggressive. My S&W has 25Lpi and seems much smoother for sure, but regardless I will never get rid of my TRP. Actually I plan on getting one in stainless...

Yep, 25 LPI is much less aggressive.

Too late now, but a wide fine file will fix that coarse sharp checkering right up.
My frontstrap with flattened 20lpi checkering is now one of my favorites.

I have the TRP and I have the Scorpion which is 25LPI and I can tell you that the Scorpion feels really REALLY good in my hands. In my opinion the 25LPI on the Sigs are PERFECT!

True words. Varies from pistol to pistol. I disliked 20 on my SA at first. Lightly touched with emery board and I love it.

Just got in a hand checkered Baer with 20 and I think it's crap compared to my SA

Are you sure your talking about the CCO and not what ever their other model is called? I had the DW CCO, and it had the the scales like ED Brown, in fact i think it is an EB.:wavey:
