This is what our kids are learning in college.
"In his old age [he has] become an increasingly intolerant and intolerable blowhard: a pompous celebrant of his own virtue and rectitude, a purveyor of intemperate jeremiads against the degeneracy of the age, and now an author of hysterical diatribes against foreign invaders, who threaten all that is holy," wrote Campos in the op-ed published in the liberal web magazine Salon.com (http://www.salon.com/2012/06/25/antonin_scalia_ranting_old_man/singleton/).

Not to discount the existence of some fine teachers -- but I have reached the conclusion that collectively, teachers (from El-Hi through the colleges) far surpass FedGov employees in being the most entitlement-minded, lazy, smug, bureaucratic, and self-absorbed do-nothings in this country.

Doesn't the adage go, "Those who can, do, those who can't, teach..."?

In this case, perhaps: "Those who can, do; those who can't, b*tch" might be more appropriate??

As someone who has relatives who are teachers in the State of WI. . I was amazed that these college educated (MS & PhD) individuals reason for hating Walker was:

He will affect OUR PAYCHECK
He will affect OUR BENEFITS
He will affect OUR PENSION

It was 100% entitlement. .

Even after I pointed out that I, and most everyone else I know in the private sector has taken pay cuts, benefit cuts, and in some cases lost their jobs. .

And there never was one word about how the over bloated pension/benefits programs were impacting everyone else in the State by sucking all of the cash out of the budget.

The only solutions to the budget issue that they ever offered was stop corporate welfare and tax the rich. .

Oh. . BTW. . The brother-in-law just retired. According to him, between pension and SS he's pulling down almost $90K per year.

A hysterical diatribe against hysterical diatribes, classic.
