View Full Version : Nothing important
I'm just watching Juan Williams guest hosting the O'Reilly Factor. He introduced one commentator as a "UCLA political science professor."
I wonder what his slant is...?
.
Don't mean to kibbitz on my own thread, but that "political science professor" is arguing that the Federal Government is going to have to "step in" on the Stockton bankruptcy to "spend them back into growth."

I saw that. I makes me wonder how I ever survived as a PoliSci major.
What did the guy with the Polisci degree say to the Art History major?

Sounds like something a political science professor would say.
So it wasn't government spending that caused the problem... it was too little government spending... is that it?
Did Juan challenge that idea?

To paraphrase Nietzsche -- that which didn't kill you has made you stronger...

Juan is a hardcore liberal -- but to his credit, when he's guest hosting "The Factor," he knows his job is to play devil's advocate against all viewpoints (the whole "fair and balanced" thing) -- so he attacked the professor pretty vigorously on his position.

"spend them back into growth."
I'm on the wrong planet.

I'm starting to believe that the "other side" sneaked over from the Bizarro universe...

Good joke -- and would work with plenty of college disciplines, including mine!
