Under both the House and Senate Health, Education, Labor and Pensions (HELP) Committee bills released to the public, the Internal Revenue Service will play a key role in monitoring and enforcing health care mandates against individual taxpayers. Yet the introduction of the IRS into the health care system has received scant attention….

Meet the new healthcare enforcer: http://www.irs.gov/Well, since it's already in the housing industry, the automotive industry, the institutions of marriage, childcare, and countless others, what difference will this make?

The only "bang" anyone's going to hear from American gun owners is the sound of their farts in between fist-fulls of processed food. Your guns aren't going to do much good against drones and a police force clearly committed to carrying out any diktat of state with enthusiastic force.

It's locked down now. The only option is to hasten collapse under it's own bloated weight. Taking up arms against the Leviathan and it's legions of costumed goons is a fool's errand. If you want tear down the Total State, vote Obama (ironically).

What you are essentially saying is that Americans haven't got the courage to put their lives on the line for liberty, unless they are agents of the State.

And unless things actually start getting bad - as in complete collapse of the American Idol Fast Food Serta Perfect Sleeper Maxwell House Good to the Last Drop Network.

Ah yes, the Cloward & Piven strategy. But what makes you so sure what rises from the ashes will be even close to the Federal Republic our founding fathers created? It's going to take more than just pushing the destruct button.

Unless we stupidly surrender our weapons there are just too many armed Americans for even the combined forces of the military and the civilian government minions to even start to confiscate them. I also have faith that a significant number of the military will not enforce that kind of order, as for the LEO I think the majority of them will gladly do their masters bidding.

I think he's saying Americans don't have the capability. In the Revolutionary War, the Americans and British fought with the same weapons of war. That's been impossible now, for a century. There can never be an armed revolt against this government. It's only a matter of time before the beast collapses like a house of cards, and that will be our only opportunity to regain every freedom that's been stolen by the progressives/globalists.

The beauty of a military/paramilitary system is that it does not require 100% blind obedience. As long as it has enough loyal members, the orders will be carried out.

I have a different opinion of Americans than you do. Be thankful Americans have sacrificed so you can have that opinion.

CitizenDream is referring to Ruby Ridge. There was outcry from a lot of people, but gun owning Americans didn't rise up and challenge the government in defense of the Weaver family.

I can’t argue that Ruby Ridge was a case of government goons killing Americans with very little outcry.

Only problem with that is that we have a llooooonnnngggg way to fall before a collapse. Decades even. I also have very little hope that a collapse would bring about greater freedom. As much as it sucks, I can think of plenty of places I would rather not be. Somalia, Zimbabwe, Russia, Cuba , Greece, Venezuela, Iran, North Korea and many many more.

You might be surprised that one of the first things the military trains you, is when you should NOT follow orders.

There are quite a few people in the military that view their function as serving the citizens of this country.

Either way, hang on, it's gonna be a bumpy ride.

My opinion on modern day Americans may not be very flattering, but I'm afraid it's closer to reality than the war cries about "rifles behind every blade of grass" and such.

Let's be real: Americans still have their guns only because the Government still lets them to. Why, I don't know. Maybe it has not risen to the top of the pile yet. Maybe they don't consider your guns that big of a threat. Maybe they keep your guns as a safety valve to give the steam some place to go.

If or when the Government decides to make guns illegal, they will have very little difficulty doing so. It will take just one vote of the Congress, like it happened in 1920 with alcohol. Or just one executive order, like it happened in 1933 with gold. Or whatever it took to outlaw suppressors and "short barrel rifles".

Not before they teach you what will happen to you if you refuse to follow orders.
