Dear Mas:
My wife and I recently saw a documentary-narration where a circumstance of a surreptitious BG flanking a CCW, the former demanding that the latter surrender his wallet - the BG had already drawn blood from the good guy's back. The CCW - I'm not sure if he was a cop or not -verbally complied, while reaching under his jacket, where he snapped the safety off his .45 Kimber and aligned himself to cause his firearm to be pointed at center mass of the BG, whereupon the CCW double tapped the bad guy.
This is based on a true event. There were witnesses and the 'shooter' was exonerated by a Grand Jury. Moreover, I'm confident that this sort of scenario has unfolded on many - however countless - occasions.
This post is to let you - and others - know that the described occasion, combined with your previous advocation of horizontal carry, has definitely made me a horizontal (clamshell) carry advocate. :wavey:
Best regards to you and yours,
