Opinion of C2 Taser

Mas,

I was asked about the effectiveness of a taser by a female, who is not into firearms. I have not read much on the subject.

However, based on a search of the web, the C2 Taser appears version most appropriate for civilian use.

What is your opinion of and experience with tasers in general and the C2 in particular? Would you recommend another version than the C2?

Also is there a danger of them going off by accident? It appears no more likely than a pistol to discharge unintentionally with probably less consequences.

TASER has worked out well in general, though anything from TASER to high powered rifle can occasionally fail to stop. All my input is from the police X26 and M26 TASERS, and I'm afraid I haven't run across any actual uses of the Civilian model.

Make sure to check that it's legal to carry in the jurisdiction in question.
