Speaking of all of these guns and nice "things" , Why is it that I always see pictures of Walther P38's and cigars ?
It is a good picture but I always wondered this ? I see them on the web , in ads in magazines and in cigar magazines . ????
Together they (P-38 and a cigar) look so nice that I made one my screen saver for my computer .

PBR plus Patron = i might forget my name ! glad i don't work for the next week
All those dang hipsters kinda give pbr a bad name, its cheap and not too bad, as a side note i went out the other night and the little bar had coors banquet draft for $1 a glass.

Talk about opposite ends of the spectrum!

Nice choice in handgun too, BTW

Awesome!

Crock pot!!!! (DS inside joke)

My wife and kids (especially my youngest daughter) really like my chili!

When she's coming home from college, for a long weekend, she asks me to make a 'batch' of it, and she takes several containers back.

All of the girls in her dorm 'suite' go NUTS over this chili!!

NO BEANS!!!!!!! All meat and veggies (and spices!)

I'm too darned lazy to stand around while my chili cooks on the stove.
Put the stuff in a 'crotch pot' and let 'er go!

Well for something that is 94 proof... it sure is smooth.

However, it does lack the stronger Juniper/floral notes associated with other Gin (Bombay Sapphire, Beefeater, Hendrics, etc) and Gin in general.

It's good stuff for sipping, but any flavor it brings to the table disappears in a G&T.

Father & Son / Summer Everyday Carry

I love Tequilla. I love guns. I love shooting them both. Philosophically and esthetically the two seem like natural go-togethers because shooting both or either of them inspires, in me at least, feelings of joy, serenity, satisfaction and over all euphoria and well being.

But the cold hard truth is that they do NOT go together. I know there are a lot of folks in here that can/do have one beer or one drink or two and feel like they have no problem handling and shooting guns. I'm sure some of the time that is actually the way it works.

But for me they do not mix. If I'm at a social event where alcohol is served and I'm carrying I will T-total. I'm a little older now and I find that I don't need to drink to enjoy myself at this stage in my life. Being an old timer and of small physical stature my current attitude is that I need my gat with me a lot more than I need a drink. And I am not even talking about the legal implications of using a firearm with ANY amount of alcohol in your system. This is just how I roll and I'm very comfortable with it.

I think the key to the correct approach for everyone is the old sayin' by my buddy Clint: "A man's got to know his limitations." In fact that rule kinda works in many aspects of life, don'tcha think?

You said it well for me, and probably lots of others. Not saying anyone else is wrong, cause this is a free country where these choices are our's to make.

I often wonder what socially active folks do with their carry piece when alcohol is available. Let's face it, many have drinks and drive. I suspect the same is true with firearms.
