i intend to!! was thinking bout today but it was just to hot..the indoor range has ac but still to hot..

I'm kinda wanting one myself, probably one of the earlier models with the exposed ejector rod.
Still, the later D frame with the shrouded ER like yours look nicer and are more abuse proof. A great snubby.

What year is that sucker? I've never seen a blued Detective Special with the Pachmayr Colt Medallion grip before. Usually these grips would come on the DSII or SFVI.

Nice find. You will like it for sure. I have a 1975 model in Nickel. Great guns, they feel really good in your hands. Makes a good carry gun too. Enjoy!
