not saying like them for function or not. just, looking at a pistol and wondering what they were thinking when they gold plated it, and called it stylish.

Ugly as sin, but that low bore axis on the Rhino makes me
Hi Point would be about first on my list and, yes, Glock would be there as well. Not the top 5, but definitely the top 10.

for the most part, they are functional, just.... well, awkward to look at.
except the lorcin and raven paperweights.

I think the beretta neos is hideous. It looks like a space gun toy. I dislike hipoints, full size desert eagles, the usual lorcin/jennings stuff and some others I can't think of off the top of my head.
I don't think of glocks as ugly, just boring looking. The basic rectangular shape of their slide with perfectly straight serrations is just very utilitarian. I feel like saying they are ugly is like saying a rectangle is ugly.

that's why these are so subjective. what one person finds ugly or plain or boring, the other finds perfect.

I'm surprised no one has mentioned the PMR-30 yet. I like mine, but it usually makes these lists.
And oh yeah... the Glock is definitely up there. Not the ugliest, but it is up there in the mix somewhere. Still a beauty queen compared to a Hi Point.

Hi Point would be about first on my list and, yes, Glock would be there as well. Not the top 5, but definitely the top 10.
I Actually think Glock is exempt from any beauty/fugly contests because they have literally taken NO attempts WHATSOEVER at styling it. Every single line, groove and texture is for function only.
I think the firearms that need to be held most accountable for their ugliness are the ones that are trying very hard to look cool. Beretta PX4, 90-two and Nano come to mind, especially coming from a company that we know is capable of producing gorgeous designs, such as the 92.
Personally, I dig the P7.
I agree, I think the P7 is a good looking gun.
As for an ugly HK, the VP70 comes to mind.

When I was about 6 or 7, these used to shoot little flat plastic disks - excellent toy. How about that trigger?
Colt Python. At least this one is. Not my gun or pic. At first I thought someone had ground away part of the top strap, but it must just be a trick of the angle or lighting. It makes me think of Quasimodo.

Yes, but are there nine that are uglier? That's a very open question that has to be answered "no" if we are not throwing strange revolvers into the mix.

In no particular order:
1. HK USP family - it's just so ungainly looking and oversized
2. Nambu, especially the Baby Nambu - I'd commit sepukku if I were issued that pistol
3. Borchardt - what can you say about this gun that makes it look prettier?
4. XD - Another ungainly looking pistol
5. Roth Steyr - is that a pistol or is that an innoculation injector?
6. HK P7M40 - the regular P7 is OK, but the .40SW model with the oversized slide looks ridiculous
7. FN FiveSeven - the design is just too damn busy with all sorts of levers and buttons everywhere
8. Whitney Wolverine - both the original and the remake are uglier than sin - too comical
9. Astra 903 - a badly ripped off Mauser Broomhandle
10. SIG P238 Rainbow - Any of the SIG with the rainbow finish but the P238 is just an ugly version of the Colt Mustang.
