I have just gotten a G29 and have been looking for load data for it. I have a Glock 20 that i have all tricked out but this one im leaving bone stock for carry. Im wanting to load 200gr XTP's to around 1100. i don't want super sonic and at my elevation super sonic is just under 1200. there is no point in going just above or at super sonic. as around 1100 would be nice. i have settled on 3 powders, AA7, AA9 and long shot. AA7 seams like it might be a better choice for the shorter barrel but 9 does very well as well. load manuals are junk for longshot as thy list very light loads. So im just looking for some advice, right now im thinking if i use AA7 i will load 10grs with a cci350. I have been scouring the load stickys but thought i would see if any of you have a great G29 load you like. Thanks for any help you can provide

I forgot to add that the reason i picked those powders was because im loading in a dillion press and 800x does not meter good at all from a dillion dispenser.

I've loaded quite a few 200gr XTP's under 8.2gr Longshot. It should get your just at or above 1100fps. My G29SF puts this load in tight clusters, too. Very accurate, nice, powerful load.

ps... i use non-mag primers which is what i recommend

Lyman 48th shows the 200JHP using AA#7
9.0 grains @ 987 fps and 19,900 C.U.P. - 10.6 grains @ 1145 fps and 28,200 C.U.P.

Loaded up a bunch of 8.2gr longshot And cci 350. And thy shot great, no smilys and perfect primers. Was knocking a 2" rubber swinger at 25 yards every time with it. Recoil was not bad at all. Thanks

A 200 gr XTP at those speeds is a penetrator. That load through my G20 at 1150 went completely through five water filled gallon milk jugs.

With four layers of denim it punctured the far wall of the fifth jug and stopped in the 5th. Classic XTP mushroom.
