You're pretty much swapping out everything except the FCG going from one caliber to another. Why not just get two rifles.

I guess its success or failure will depend upon cost? If Colt can market this for a lot less than two rifles, they might have a winner.

According to the GA article, it looks like MSRP is around $2200.

Eh, it's in line with the high-end ARs, so I think, if I can get the cash together and they actually offer it to consumers, I might get one.

If they offer it to consumers! That is the key here. I'll gladly buy two rifles from a company that doesn't have their head up their butt. Colt hasn't supported the civilian shooter in decades.
