Well I'd say that anybody that griped about a lack of action in S2 might be able to keep quiet this Oct.

I shouldn't watch trailers like this - only make me impatient for it to start up again.

Guess its awhile to SOA or Justified I guess.

with the AR15 and AK47 being the most popular firearms in America its hard to believe they barely get used in season 3?

Maybe its a way to say to those who are not prepared that you will be stuck with a revolver and a crossbow when the SHTF. It will take a while(if you live) to acquire better weapons from those less able to survive. Why not get them NOW. That will make your chances of survival better. A revolver is a great weapon, but a limited 6 rds against zombies is an epic fail!!!!

From the comics: One is Michonne's former boyfriend and the other is a cousin. She cut off the arms and jaws and keeps them as camouflage from walkers.

BTW, I'm digging the film adaption of her. She is supposed to be a badass, and she's not hard on the eyes either.

Ah! Thank you. I never would have thought of that!

I've never seen any of the comics (graphic novels), so all I know is what I've seen on the TV shows.

Best damn TV show 'on the air', bar none. I love the realism: when you shoot or cut a zombie, they BLEED; a LOT. Definitely R-rated TV.

It was not as interesting when they were camped out at the farm: just not enough going on, especially compared to the first season.

I'm REALLY looking forward to season 3!

It's really cool to watch the crew transform Senoia into Woodbury. What's also interesting is that all the businesses are still open to the public, even while they are shooting in the streets. The film company built new rear entrances to all the shops. There's a new gun shop there that I frequent and when they are filming, all the front windows and doors are covered with a roll down metal screen, somewhat like you see at a closed store in a mall.

If you're lucky and time it right, you can see the cast members as they walk from the trailers to the town. There's a small coffee shop just outside the Woodbury gate that some of the cast members visit between takes, showing up in full costume, zombies included. Really awesome to live so close to the filming locations. Makes watching the show much more fun.

Yes, I agree,,,,,, this season is going to be awesome with the Boiler Room, Prison, and Woodbury.

Pretty much all prison gear is tailor made for zombie resistance and every prison would have a fully stocked armory to go with the shields/body armor. Which combined with the multiple security layers of fences and bolted doors has always left me wondering, "How did the prison get overrun in the first place"? :dunno:

what constitutes a regular? did you forget that they killed off, imo, the star of the show last season? shane made the show for me.

Shane I think had the right mentality on how to survive but IMHO he lost it when he wounded the fat guy (can't remember his name) to get away from the walkers at the school when they went to get meds to save Carl.

I think that one act pushed him over the edge, He was close after Rick came back and he lost Lorrie and Carl but that act pushed him over the edge.

"How did the prison get overrun in the first place"?

Although the show does not go into detail about how things get started, I would presume that some type of pandemic killed a huge chunk of the population, and caused them to rise as Walking Dead. Some of the guards and prisoners would have become infected, died and rose as zombies.
OR… in the last days of a functioning society, guards would have refused to come to work, or abandoned the prison to protect their families. Ensuring the prison gates were secured would not be that important.

I always wondered why Shane didn't just hook up with Andrea. She did grab his crotch in that episode where he gave her some private gun training. All we saw was the vehicle coming to a screeching halt,,,,, but we all know what that meant. :)

Shane might still be alive if he had forgotten about Lori and kept banging Andrea. Besides,,,,,, Andrea is hotter than Lori anyway.

I dont understand why they are not keeping buckets of zombie blood around. When the zombies come just pour some blood over your jacket or pants and blend in. They did that in Seasn 1 however it suddenly rained on them. lol..

When they were looking at a map to decide where to drop off Randall, Rick mentioned they were just a few miles from Senoia. Senoia is about 35 miles south of the Atlanta airport, a long ways from Benning.

Ironically, Senoia is the town they converted to Woodbury for filming. But there isn't a prison around there for miles.

Two and half more months to wait for the premier. :crying:

Wow, this doesn't sound good. :wow::shocked:

A big tree can weigh many tons. People sitting in a car have been killed by falling trees. A tent is about as close to no protection as you can get, next to a raincoat or a light jacket.

Lets hope it was a small(er) one, and that the injuries are not at all serious.

If someone sees a follow up story, please post it. I'm off to google this accident.

Didn't notice that, good eye. I figured at least a week or two passed between leaving the farm and getting in the prison (they must have spent a little time looking for the guns they have). Plus a few days to plan breaking into the place...but now I'm thinking it's as long as one, maybe two months between farm and prison. Which means Andrea and Michonne are at Woodbury for a while.

I think it was said somewhere that Merle is with the Woodbury crew...I have a feeling it was him that found Andrea in the woods (that hug line at the end of the trailer).

So, season 2 ends with them being in walking distance to the prison, and now all of a sudden Lori is 8-9 months pregnant, and they're just now finding the prison?

Hopefully they'll mention how much time has passed since finale to premier...at first I thought maybe the girl that plays Lori really is pregnant, but can't find anything on that.

The only other possibility I can think of is they want to deal with the baby stuff by end of mid-season finale to get to the good stuff after that and her only being a few months would just not make that possible. So they rushed her pregnancy a few months.

Machineguns would be useless. You need rifles and you need to aim for the head. The advantage of M-16/AR-15 is light weight ammo, you can carry alot of it. Selector switch must stay on semi-auto though I can imagine that those who insist on such weapons will always choose burst or full-auto.

The crossbow makes alot of sense. One can take game without making noise. One can dispatch the walkers without alerting others.
