I've been looking at different designs and things lately... My pistol collection is 90% Glock and 100% Striker Fired....

I'm not really crazy about DA/SA, but have looked at CZ, Beretta, HK, Sig and the like as well...

I really want to get something different and have been mulling staying striker-fired and getting:
-Steyr C9
-FNS .40/9mm Stainless
-Caracal FS/CS9

What I really like about the FNS package is what you get!
-Factory Night Sights
-3Mags
-2 interchangeable grips
-new aggressive texturing

Seems to be a pretty good package right outta the box...Any suggestions?:dunno:

I really like the Caracal. I'll be replacing my Steyr M9A1 with a Caracal F when funds are available.

All your choices are excellent. The Caracal is very promising, I would just wait a bit to check long term reliability reports and customer service records.

A fun thing can be not only to go for the newest such as the Caracal, but for the oldies. A West German Sig 225 or 228, both are amazing.

One more pebble in the lake: have a look at the Walther P99 AS, read a bit, try one.

There early Friday morning cents spent.

I suggest a hammer fired pistol if you want something different.

I'd suggest a rifle or shotgun if you want something different.

I know it's early, but that is almost unreadable. And the last sentence is just gibberish.

Do you have a few 22 handguns? Revolvers(SA & DA), & a semi-auto? Just about everyone could use a 4" and/or 6" 357 mag. Let's say you get reports of a Yeti sighting in AL, then it's time for your Ruger Redhawk in 45 Colt stocked with hardcast. How many "J" frames do you have? I think you have a few holes in your collection, go to Gunbroker & report back in a few days. Better yet, find instate deals for FTF cash. After that we can work on your long gun armament.

I had the same desire as you a few months ago and decided to go with a CZ P-07 Duty. It is basically an exact reverse of my Glocks and M&P. Internal slide (frame wraps around slide), hammer fired, DA/SA, decocker, completely different ergos, etc. I love my little CZ and have to admit its SA trigger makes me seem like a better shot that I am. I already shoot it was well as my Glock 19. I still prefer my Glocks over any other pistol, but you wouldn't regret getting a CZ.

Since you already have a bunch of polymer, go metal framed and hammer fired. The P-07 is nice, but the P-01 is better. I bought one and I feel like I want to buy all the CZs now. I think I might try to find a 2075 Rami so I have one small enough I would want to carry regularly. CZ is pretty sweet.

I have a Ruger MKIII .22/45, fun and CHEAP to shoot! Meeeeeh, not in the mood for a revolver as I have a Smith 642. I'd love a Chiappa .357 Rhino, but can't see >$600.00 for that gun, and all it's bugs haven't been worked out yet. I've looked at CZ's, and has shot a gentleman's CZ 75 RAMI, that was pretty fun!

Long guns, I have a Mossy Mariner 500, so not looking for a shotgun. I was really interested in getting into the AR-15 & AK realm, but I've got more research to do before I plunk down $$$ and have buyer's regret.

I "cut my teeth" on striker-fired pistols (Glocks). But, I have to say that I was surprised how much I like my hammer-fired DA / SA FNP-45 Tactical pistol.

I would suggest a 22LR target pistol. Preferably something that can take a scope as you precision shooting improves.

The next suggestion is a revolver. It is about as different from what you have as I can think of.

The next suggestion is a 1911 or BHP. This is different than what you have.

The next suggestion is on my want list. Luger 08. Just because.

Do the research then. Both are fun guns. I prefer the AK.

I would either get one in 7.62x39mm ir 5.45x39mm. The 5.45 advantage is cheap ammo, at $140 per 1,080.

Ive got an Arsenal in 7.62x39mm. Its a great gun, and Arsenals are one of the top brands.

I bought it 11 years ago. If I where to do it today, Id probably get a converted Saiga.

Check out the Kalashnikov club.

I like the way these AKs look...

1911 I used to have glocks and striker fired pistols until I bought my first 1911. Now every pistol I own is either a 1911 or revolver.

Get a HK and be done with it!

You can thank me later.

There is absolutely nothing wrong with Sig, HK, or a CZ. Put a few hundred rounds downrange with any of them and, I'd be willing to bet you wouldn't have any buyers remorse.

Change you can believe in. Get a 1911, even if it's one of the Armscor offerings, to get your feet wet, and, it won't cost a fortune!
