New Gun(s) day!

Been out salmon fishing so have not been able to post the Pics of my new XDs till now it was purchased 7-5-12($499 otd). I will say that I have roughly 500rds through the XDs and only one bobble. That came from the very first round of Hornady Steel Match. The said bobble was a Fail to return to battery but a simple tap on the back of the slide fixed it. It has eaten Blaser brass, Remington UMC, Winchester White box, and Hornady Steel Match.

I also pick this little guy up today for $348. The PMR-30 was a complete impulse buy. Went looking for some commercial fishing gear and walked out with it as well. I have put 150 rounds though it with a couple of bobbles. Not a big deal to me as it will only see use at the range.

Sweet! I won't have the chance to shoot my two new additions til next Wednesday, but I'm looking forward to it! Got a full set of Volquartsen parts in the .22 already :supergrin:

Sweet purchases. Loading the mag carefully makes all the difference in the PMR running well or not. It's so much fun to shoot, big fire & big noise but no recoil.

Very nice, I have both as well. Love both of them. The "bobbles" with the PMR-30 could have been caused by the way you loaded the mag. There is a certain way to do it. A google search should yield the correct way. Essentially you need to make sure the rounds stagger properly.

Sweet deals! I just picked up my XDS but have yet to shoot it. If the weather holds out then I'll run a couple of hundred rounds through it. If all goes well (which it should) then this gun will see major carry time.

Thanks. Fishing has been good. The Chum are showing up and the Reds are running strong. The only down moment this year happened early on the 4th of July. We lost one of our own and his daughter had to put the mayday out about the man over board.


Thanks to every one else about the mag loading on the PMR-30 I'll look into it. But like I said not real worried about is as it will only be used as a plinker.
