Business owners will pay $4 billion more in taxes under President Obama’s Affordable Care Act (ACA) than the Congressional Budget Office had previously expected.

I don't know about you all but, I'm sure glad that Roberts took it upon himself to rewrite this monstrosity as a tax and saddled us with it.

Don't sweat it. Just vote for Romney, and he's sure to nominate conservatives just like Roberts.

I feel so much better now.

So get congress to overturn it? Roberts was right, this is a tax. You may not like it, Congressmen/women may lie to you that it's not, but it is a tax. You can choose not to get health insurance. If you don't and your poor, the way the system is setup, you won't pay a penalty for it. If you are rich, you will get tax into oblivion to do it.

There's that "unexpected" again in reference to an Obama policy...

listening to the chatter on the radio yesterday about dealing with it as a tax makes it semi easier to get rid of it. Of course roberts did us no favor by trying to save the reputation of the court...we need the senate folks and people that have the guts

I guess as a tax, a GOP-dominated congress can remove the components of Obamacare through budget reconciliation, with only a 51 percent majority vote.

Someone with far more knowledge than myself can weigh in...

That's what I heard. Harry Reid wouldn't bring in to vote a few weeks ago. He might be afraid 51 votes could be there right now.

I'll take the left leaning conservative moderate, over the back against the wall, trying to dig a hole through the wall to go farther to the left, socialist/marxist, we have now.

If Romney is so liberal, how come real far left liberals like yourself are so afraid of him beating O-Nothing?

(It's okay, we already know the answer).

And the end result is the same: America loses, like we just saw in the Obamacare case.

If Romney is so liberal, how come real far left liberals like yourself are so afraid of him beating O-Nothing?
Since I'm not voting for either idiot, I don't care which of them beats the other. America will keep circling the drain under either administration.

(It's okay, we already know the answer).
Whatever. You vote for liberals. I don't.

This has become tedious. He may not be what you want in your socially superior utopian idea of a world. But if you can't see that there IS a differnce overall between these two, then you are incredibly dense, or you choose not to accept reality.

Obama and the Congress saddled us with it... Roberts just let it continue.

It was ruled unconstitutional as a penalty, Roberts rewrote it as a tax. If not for Roberts actions obamacare would be done with.

With conservatives like that, who needs liberals.

Any example of a federal tax that was abolished in the last 20 years?

Reality is that our debt will continue to mount under either administration, and that there will come a point where the interest on the debt alone, will exceed any ability of the federal government has to pay for it.

What's become tedious, is unprincipled, weak-kneed, bluedogs like you, who can't be bothered to research any political candidate beyond their party affiliation. The differences between the two liberals running this November are negligible. Neither of them will lift a finger to reign in this government's out-of-control, unsustainable spending.

Jumped right to the conclusion that I'm a Romney supporter. Nice. That way you can continue your diatribe on how everything sucks and woe is we. By the way, I'm not saying that your wrong in that. I don't know if your right or wrong. I did not defend him. I simply stated that there are clear differences between the two candidates. Maybe not the differences that YOU Or even I think are important, but they are real.
