So I bought a Kimber Aegis custom several months ago and have been shooting IDPA with it instead of my .45 to try and build up enough trust to make it my new carry gun. It has been finicky about magazines from day 1 and Tripp research and the 10rnd metalforms are the only ones that are 100% reliable. I had some time on my hands so I decided to convert it to .38 super to increase the reliability and ballistics. I bought a Storm Lake oversize barrel and spent many hours filing a little then checking fit. After I got everything fit properly I found out the chamber wasnt cut deep enough and needed to be finish reamed. I sent it back to Storm lake and they did this for me free of charge. Its scary accurate now:supergrin: I shot this group at 25 yards using sandbags for support. The flyer was my fault. Still not bad for a 10 shot group. The load used was 5.4gr Win 231, 120gr home cast TC sized to .356 and starline brass
