My local gun store finally got in a Sig 938. I was stoked and ready to but it. I tried the trigger and had to double check to see if I really had a Sig, or a Taurus. It was stiff and a very hard mushy pull with a a very rough finish. Suffice to say, it did not come home with me. My wife has a 238 and it has a nice trigger, so I just have to say :toilet:flush it down.

Mine came in heavy , but after filing the serrated trigger and dry fired it a lot of times using an ear plug between the hammer and the rear pin, I like it so far.

WOW, for a Sig and the price tag I would expect a better trigger.

I've heard people talk about the P238 trigger in the same way but I find it quite crisp. I wonder if the stainless trigger in my P238 will fit in the P938.

is it that different from the p238? I love my 238's trigger

I'm not a fan of either gun, but they do appeal to many.

Yes. I forgot, if the trigger on a gun doesn't resemble that of a 1911 and break at a half a ounce, it's a bad trigger.

Maybe more people need to learn how to actually shoot and they wouldn't complain about every gun they pick up. :whistling:

That's just a thought though.

Major difference. I am not a fan of the Solo, but would buy it before the 938 if i was to layout those kind of buck. I will be sticking to my Nano.

The 938 is relatively new and SIG Sauer is known for lack of quality control on new products.
Some people actually say that the first buyers are the beta testers!

I was on a list for the extreme when it came in. I ended up not getting it.

I can't justify the price point. I'm gonna wait to see if they come down after the initial rush.

Doesnt help that I got two HK's while waiting for that thing. ;)

Just like the P290.............

The Trigger becomes smooth and crisp with a break in. Out of the box, I agree, it is stiff and heavy.

I own an older P232 and purchased a P238 for my wife. While the P238 is accurate and in my opinion, the best micro .380 you can get (maybe except for an original Colt Mustang), the quality is nowhere near the P232. The trigger is not very smooth and my wife complains about it after a few rounds. And the safety is very diffucult to operate--more so than one would think it should be.

I recently saw the 938 and had my doubts about it.

Yes, it is different from the P238. The 238 is smooth, without a doubt.
