Well, after dabbling in various plastic for the last year... I decided I missed shooting 1911s enough to get back into it.... sort of. :whistling:

Picked it up yesterday and ran 100 rounds though it today with Knedrgr. Need to take up a little pretravel out of the trigger and change out the sights to my usual 10-8 setup, but this is a sweet sweet shooter.

Well Paul I see you got over your mid life crisis and came back. Kinda missed the sparing there bud. Kept up with you some through Cuong and Don. Ya'll missed a great shoot this year. Glad your back and since I don't face I can get a little banter from ya. I was hoping you would come to the shoot though. Better be there next year. Congrats on the new gun.

Hey Limb, actually I sort of got out of 1911s for a while to avoid the shoot. Something about heading to Kentucky with a bunch of backwoods kinfolk and a whole lot of guns frankly scared the hell out of me. Sort of had Deliverance flashbacks to Ned Beatty squealing like a little pig. Uhhhhhh, maybe next year.

Haha. Too late. Don called dibs before it delivered and there is also a line. :tongueout:

He forgot to mention there's a flat trigger waiting to be put in. No, I'm serious, he found that he actually shoots better with them. :)
