I recall at least one instance of some unarmed people stopping an armed/active shooter. Seems like it was in Washington state, and two guys (seems like one was a wrestling coach at the school) tackled him while he was reloading or clearing a malfunction. I don't have enough detail to do a Internet search without a billion possibles.
I could use a hand from anyone who can remember that incident or any other events of unarmed vs. armed criminals. It is for part of an informational program for some people that cannot have a firearm at their place of business but have some personal safety worries. Links to stories, names, anything would be appreciated.

Can't seem to find it online, but there was that one I saw on World's Wildest Police Videos, back in the 80's or 90's some crazy dude opens up on the wite house with an AK 47. Gun jams or he's reloading and some dud in a cowboy hat jumps on him and others come to help.

the philly railroad shooter was stopped while trying to reload.
The springfield oregon shooter was captured by one of his victims while shooting. the school shooter in Va Beach was jumped after he started shooting with a SA uzi. There are numerous incidence where unarmed civilians(some wounded) stopped the shooter.:wavey:
