::yawn::

Romney won't get 40% , and I think republicans are even happy about this.

Glock will offer a face protector with all G4 19's before Mitt wins presidency.

You can't really blame Obama, he never expected to get elected. It was supposed to go to Hillary. Obama was just going for the publicity, to make him look like someone who was a mover. Once the Dumocrats got a look at Hillary, they puked and went for anyone else .... their choices were Edwards, Biden, Dodd and a bunch of other losers. So they went with the unknown, figuring he had to be better than the alternatives.

History will soon repeat itself, again.

There are a lot of similarities between the presidencies of Jimmy Carter and Barack Obama.

I remember the 10% unemployment, double digit interest rates,
high inflation and the energy shortage with it's long lines at the gas pumps.

At election time, Jimmy Carter went down in flames and lost to Ronald Reagan in a epic landslide defeat.

Barack Obama is headed down the same path to a humiliating defeat to Mitt Romney.

The economy will make or break a president every time.

Yes it's a different country today.

The people are smarter, better educated and more informed about national politics and economics. Thanks to 24/7 news channels like CNN and FOX.

The American people are not stupid, and they've had enough of Barack Obama and his attempt to socialize America.

The little Nazi can't win reelection without force and fraud.

And he will make sure there's plenty of that.

Once it's found out who we really elected president and the damage that was done to our national security, the entire mess will be marked "Top Secret", put in a wooden crate and buried deep inside a government warehouse somewhere.

Reminds me a joke from the Soviet times...

- Is Socialism a science?
- No. If it was a science, they would have tried it on dogs first.

Cool. Then you won't miss my vote when I vote Third Party.

PS. To compare Romney in any way to Ronald Reagan is a major insult to The Gipper.

Nobody compared Romney to Reagan.
The comparison was Obama to Carter.

Who’s going to go after him? Certainly not the Pubs, they wouldn’t want to take the risk of offending anyone.

The best we can hope for the little Nazi is that he goes off to build houses with Jimmy. Preferably in Kenya.

JB, never underestimate the stupidity of the American electorate. It was obvious to many of us that Obama was an empty suit in 2008, but he won. It scares hell out of me, but he may well win again. Dems promise to take more from the "rich" and that alone will win many, many votes. Remember, Robin Hood is alive and well, and a hero to many.

Romney has a good chance to win due to the enthusiasm gap between Dems and Reps...unless the Dear Leader pulls an October surprise by decriminalizing pot. It would easily increase turnout of the youth vote, urban vote, and libertarian vote. Should this happen, however, expect it to be illegal again since the state would view every able-bodied man and woman as nothing more than an industrious taxpayer (hence the fervent support of free birth control and abortions).

The DNC must have something brewing, or else these mayors wouldn't feel emboldened enough to be openly attacking the 1st amendment right now.

Exactly right. Nobody, and I mean nobody, was more surprised when Obama got elected than Obama.

You could tell when he didn't even have a list of people for consideration for all of the agency heads he was supposed to pick, not to mention the big clue--absolutely no plan whatsoever to run the country.

That's why the Democrats didn't vet him beforehand, and didn't find out about all of the background problems until later. They never thought he had a chance of beating Hillary. I didn't either.

But, I will never underestimate the stupidity of the American people in general, and Democrats in particular, again.

I believe carter was just plain inept, plus maybe the general population was more intune to what was going on back then due to experiencing gas lines and high unemployment. OBAMA i believe has a purpose to his madness, and the masses are tuned into american idol.

The American people are not stupid, and they've had enough of Barack Obama and his attempt to socialize America.Do you really believe CNN and FOX News educate and inform the people?

If so, do you realize that CNN, FOX News, and MSNBC combined only reach 3.3 million viewers? That's about one-sixth of the number of people watching Dancing with the Stars, and less than a quarter of the number of people watching "The Big Bang Theory".

"Love and Hip Hop Atlanta" on VH1 beats out combined cable news viewers by about 200,000.

Yep. There are far more parasites wanting a handout and the indoc..........er "education" system has just dumbed-down two more generations.

This is what Obama has... these people don't give a DAMN about the future of this country, they don't even care about their own futures. All they care about is what they get, NOW.

Obama has messed up, and someone really good could take him out easy, but here is one big, fat, problem: Mitt doesn't appeal too well. Obama is a problem, but Romney a solution?

It's all about getting your voters to actually go give you a vote. I think Obama has lost a lot of enthusiasim he had in 2008, but I sure don't think Romney is making republicans anxious to put him in office.

If the economy keeps on getting worse, and gas prices continue to rise, and Obama keeps on saying some of the crap he has said "you didn't build that" I think Romney will win it. If the economy starts to improve and gas prices drop, Obama will get it. However, it is now AUGUST, and November is really close. What Romney needs to do is look Presidential.

The signs are very positive for Romney. Polls show about a tie with a slight edge to Obama, but historically when the tie is within the margin of error, the challenger wins. No president has won an election since FDR with an unemployment rate over 7.8% except Reagan but the rate was dropping consistantly. Also, Obama's strongholds states aren't so strong, and many blue states are looking a bit red. Also, Republicans have been winning in places that it's about unheard of for a Republican to win. NY, Mass, and Wisconsin for example.

I'm really crossing my fingers but I'd like to see a real upset, and it could happen. However, the upset could be on our side.
