I picked up a new 22/45 MKIII a little while back, replaced most the the internals with VQ stuff, and am absolutely loving it! Very nice to have one again after about 8 years. Anyway, I disabled the LCI, but want to get one of those blank steel inserts to replace the stock plastic one with the text on it. Anyone have a good source for one?
Check out rimfirecentral.com. You need either the BAM or Sam Lam bushing.

Register at RimfireCentral.com - Forum member Bruce Patza has been making and supplying LCI fillers for MKIII in SS and hot-Blued finishes for a while. That's exactly what I'm wanting! I have a blue pistol, does his blue tend to match pretty well?
My blued matched perfectly.
