Recently signed up and in less than 2 weeks have ended up with 3 guns. Just picked up a Talo GP100 that I've been drooling over ever since I very first saw one a few months ago. Here's a few pics from GB. Should have it sometime next week.

Congrats Joe!

GB is addicting as hell. I've bought dozens from that site. :embarassed:

Without it, I wouldn't have half the rare guns I do.

This gun probably saved me money...:whistling: See, I was thinking of sending my 4" SS GP100 to Gemini Custom after getting the GC SP101. So see,... if I look at it like that, this gun actually saved me some money. And I got a new gun out of the deal to boot.

I don't know how you guys find any deal on GB. I haven't caught a deal on anything in 3 years.

I can dig it. Novak fixed sights, 3" barrel and original GP100 grips.

Wow. Do you have any go to people that you recommend buying from, or do you just mix it up?

I want to buy something from GB, the pictures kind of have me confused. You should be my consultant, look at the pics, and tell me what you think.

His consulting fee would probably be more than the cost of the guns I can afford to buy off of GB to boot!

Semi-related, I have been browsing through GB looking at STI 1911s solely based on bac saying he liked them in his 1911 buyer's guide.

I've dealt with a couple sellers more than once. However, I look first at the item, then the seller.

If its something I want and the seller has good feedback, I go for it.

My very favorite Sig came from Gunbroker. It was $299, a .40 DAO P229 police trade-in. Trigger pull is long but smooth and light for a DAO. Tons of finish wear, checkering is smoothed out on front strap. She's an ugly dog, but it's my primary HD gun. It's the one they'll have to pull "from my cold, dead hands" I also got a superb P225 (not a P6) for $289 from a pawn broker in Dallas of GB. Sold it later for $500 as my sample of the same gun was slightly better. Some times you get some GREAT deals on there.

Congrats on the Ruger. They should make the 3" barrel with Novak sights a standard offering instead of just a Talo exclusive.

Me either. I've gotten parts for pretty cheap. I've never found a gun for a deal I couldn't get in my local gun store.

Nice. I'd get one of those. Usually Talo revolvers seem to be non-fluted (at least with the S&W 686) which I'm not a fan of.

Wow, that's surprising for Ruger.

Good luck with it. I'm sure Ruger will take care of it.

I wonder who does the work on these? I know they've done nice exterior work, but I don't know what all is done internally to these. They sure look nice. I can't wait for mine to arrive. I'm sure Ruger will make things right with you, as they "endorse" this build. And they have excellent customer service.
