Got 27 of these in a trade, anybody have an ID? W-W headstamp, brass case. . .

I can't quite see the nose of the bullet but all of the BT's that I shot were loaded in nickel cases. I also do not remember there being any primer sealant used,my guess if they are they have been handloaded not factory. SJ 40

Yes, 230 grain BT's. They were loaded in both nickel and brass cases.

Ranger SXT discontinued in 1998. Replaced by the Ranger T Series. BT were made in nickle cases Ranger SXT originally were nickle but changed over to brass when the box went from 20 rounds to 50.

Yes BT, I used .40 issued in both brass and nickle cases.

The cartridge appears to be a "Black Talon", however the packaging does not appear to be original.

They came in the stiff Styrofoam tray (as used in most Winchester products), or a black plastic "tub" with a softer more flexible type of material, (almost like a closed cell foam).
