shot the august aggressive defensive solutions second saturday match at the C2 range in virginia beach once again. used the usp40 custom combat and finished 9th. even though it is a usp i have had no trigger time to speak of on the .40 at speed. i had less than 100 rounds through it before the match. also switched out the v1 for the hybrid lem from my usp9sd the night before.

i ended up being the very first shooter, here is my first shot.

brass in flight.

here is my over the beach face as the water splashes me. started the stage with the gun at slidelock sitting in a bucket of water. you had to retrieve the gun, load it, and engage. brass visible in this pic as well.

and the ugly video of my crappy 9th place finish. the steel did me in.

Good job man!! It sucks going first, but it looked like you kept your cool. I have a buddy that shoots in different matches every chance he gets. He talked me into getting in one and I got the slowest time of our squad (maybe 12 people). Hahaha the RO told me that somebody had to get last place, and there can only be one person that gets it.

you got out and competed, that's what counts. keep at it, you will get better. slow hits count more than fast misses!

Keep up the attempts to do better and you will.

Also, you can't miss fast enough, to win!:wavey:
