i got a used one, the plastic mag catch was unsat, new metal one on the way from Kahr.

ran a fine file on the edges of the slide stop to take the sharp edges off.

ive owned a K9 and MK9 years ago but never a mini P series gun.......

share your thoughts and experiences with the one you have.

I've carried one for nearly ten years. It's been flawless in performance and function since day one. Lightweight, easily concealable and, most importantly, reliable.

Fine gun, one of the best true pocket 9mm's

I had my PM9 for over two years with a 1000+ rounds through it with no problems. It's my EDC.

Great gun, very small and reliable 9mm. The new CM9 is the same story.

A great pocket gun. I kept the original plastic mag release, just filed it down.

I have a CM9 that has been flawless over 600 rounds. I carry it everyday.

My feedramp caused nosedives, so I filed it down. Good ever since :)

I hear good things about the PM9 as well as the CM9.

The PM9 is more expensive than the CM9 but I am told that they are both deadly accurate and reliable.

Hi,

I've got the PM9 and it easily replaced a 442 for pocket carry. Get a bicycle tube and add it to the grip for a better grip with no sharp edges...

Good luck,

Alan

I had one and it was reliable and accurate. I now have a MK9 but only because I prefer all steel guns.

I used to have one. It is one of the better built plastics. I didn't care for the trigger so I sold it. YMMV.

Great Gun!
I have over 3,000 flawless rounds through it. Nice smooth trigger, accurate, easily concealed, shoots anything!
The only things I added were a set of meprolite nite sights and a set of Talon grips (rubber texture). IMO Talon Grips are awesome, for $15 shipped you can't go wrong and there are several gun models availabe

Nice gun. I ended up buying the CM9 version which has been flawless for 500+ rounds. I carry it whenever my G26 is a little too big.

I have one. Carried and shot quite a bit. When I first got it, ran a bit of +P+ through it. It may run it OK, but, it beat the crap out of the front of the barrel hood. Or, mine had a bad barrel, there was a real problem with some peening issues for awhile.

Back to Kahr, new barrel, has yet to have a problem. I usually stick with regular pressure and the occasional +P. For a true deep concealment, lightweight gun, its as good as it gets. I recently picked up a Rohrbaugh. The most finicky ammo sensitive pistol I have ever owned.

I put the PM9 head and shoulders above the Rohrbaugh and, the Kahr has a better trigger for me.

I have a P9 Covert which is indentical in grip size to the PM; however, the barrel lenght is 3.5 instead of 3. I have had it since around 2004. They don't make them anymore. It is my summer work attire pocket carry in a pocket holster, of course. Great pistol. However, the mag release occassionally releases the mag during pocket carry (left front pant pocket), so I have to be cognizant of that.

worn out plastic mag release?

Could be, cowboywannabe. I need to look into that and see if Kahr will send me a new mag release. They had a lifetime warranty on Kahrs when I bought this one.

theyre sending me a new steel one which is now standard for the plastic guns as well as the metal ones. id rather have the 1911 style mag release so i can change out the spring as well to a stiffer version to prevent accidental mag drops. the new mag catch should seat the magazine better but has nothing to do with how easy it is to pop one out.

I like mine for what it does (pocket gun). If I didn't need it for occasional pocket carry I probably wouldn't keep it though.

My main beefs: the top round easily slides forward on its own in spare mags and the slide is very stiff to rack.

Mine has operated 100%. I've been looking for something that small that might replace it but there is just nothing else out there that can beat it.

What holsters are best for this little gem?

My PM9 is my back up gun and sometimes when it is really hot, I carry just it. With all the attacks on LEOs, I may just keep carrying my FNH 5.7 as my EDC.
