Any one try one of these or something like this, NOT really looking to go to a backpack, but something between this and a courier / dispatch bag? -

Price is not bad, and I like the "one should strap" style bags more than I do a back pack. Figured it would allow me to carry as big of a bag as I want plus at least two spare mags, flashlight, leatherman, etc. all the time?
Doesn't look goofy like a fanny pack, and doesn't scream "GUN" like a vest. Only downside I can see is in a store it looks weird, or if someone asks to see in the bag, not to mention is someone tries to do a "snatch and grab" like w/a purse. :(
Of course that's better than either pocket carrying a tiny piece or leaving a gun at home and not having it. :(
Thanks -

Offbody carry is asking to lose your piece.
I carry a Glock, 2 spare mags, knife and light in anything from shorts up without any serious problems using nothing more than an untucked polo shirt or buttondown.

I use a single strap bag made by Spiderwire, fishing gear, from Dicks Sports. I keep my gun on my body but everything else goes in the bag. Works great for $30.00. You can find them on Dicks website.

Buy bigger clothes. I am 6 foot 280 and can carry about anything I want wearing shorts and a loose t shirt. It is a lot easier for bigger guys like us to carry concealed than the little people. Hell I could just about carry an armored tank division concealed if my shorts have enough pockets.

My first thought is do not lose any weight. I had a hard time not printing with a 2075 RAMI at 170 lbs. At 187, I can conceal a P229 without difficulty.
I've used the 5.11 Select Carry Sling Pack (http://www.511tactical.com/All-Products/Bags-Backpacks/COVRT/Select-Carry-Sling-Pack.html) to conceal carry my Draco (AK pistol) while in AZ & NV.

I have a 511 messenger bag that I carry daily and for weekends its a single strap MOAB 10. I prefer the MOAB but it would probably stand out a little in a business environment so I opt for the messenger mon-fri.
