Is it worth saving $80 to pick up a used LCR (2012 production verified by serial number), from Cabelas?
I imagine they have a gunsmith run thru their used guns.
What say you?

What version, .22, .38 or .357. I picked up my .357 version for $425 New.
I know it depends where you live, but If its the .38 version, around here that would not be a good price, that is what a NEW one is going for, but again that is here.
The LCR is one of my pocket guns. It split its time with my Kahr PM9

I bought mine brand new from lgs for $370. Cabelas is going to be way higher than your smaller gun shops.

Its a .38 w/ Tamer.
LGSs have it for $450 and higher, in Seattle area.
My question is really: Do you think an $80 savings is worth buying used 2012 production over a new LCR 38?

Free shipping, whatever yourn local FFL charges you for transfer.
I paid 400 for mine nib about three months ago from my LGS. I am very happy with it. Well worth the price.

...plus "use (sales) tax", in states like Washington
This surprise made a great deal, on an AR-15, not so great, but still a little better than local. Tho for the small diff, I would have rather bought it from an LGS, out of support, for the range I frequent.

A GT member contacted me and offered up an LCR38 w/ CTC and only 5 rounds through it, at a reasonable price and I went for it!
