I searched over hill and over dale for good onion rings and I have finally found them at the Dust Bowl Diner in Muskogee. These are made from scratch, and you know you bit into an onion when you eat one. :eat:

These were tasty for sure but just a thin little onion slice, kinda wimpy if you ask me:supergrin:

Them look real good.

I like onion rings as an appetizer or snack. Not with a burger. I know it a little weird but that's me.

Believe it or not the best I have found around here are from a little pizza shop. Lady straight outta Brooklyn owns it and makes them awesome. I like them well done so they turn brown. She makes a big basket for $1.99.

I am actually pretty impressed w/ Sonic's onion rings. I believe they are the best of any fast-food chain.

In a chain restaurant, I'd probably have to hand it to Red Robin; however, those 13 rings will cost you. I rarely purchase them just because of the ****ty dollar-to-value ratio.

Hardee's ain't too terribly bad, either, now that I think about it.

Burger King? :puking:

Hell if I know.

I'd assume so. I mean...they're good & consistant, but it IS a chain.

It's hard to say. Wish I could help ya, ole Mark. :dunno:

That's the way I like 'em. Thick onion, thin batter well cooked.

There used to be (45 years ago) in Paterson, NJ a little diner down by the Passaic river, that made onion rings like that. He also made the best French Fries I've ever had. They were fresh cut right in front of your eyes, and then into a vat of hot beef fat to fry. They were OMG good!
