Anyone own one? If so, what is your opinion of it? I haven't had a chance to see one up close yet, but a stainless model might make a good trunk gun.

I havent handled one but the bag they come in is awesome. If its anything like a normal 10/22 it should be a great gun. I love my 10/22.

That's what I am hoping. I have a regular 1022 that I bought back in the 90s and it's sweet.

I love mine! I got one right when the came out. I have never had one bit of trouble out of it. It is just as accurate as my dads standard 10/22. I keep it, my 22 pistol, a couple 25 rd BX mags, and a brick of ammo ready in the awesome little bug out bag all the time.

Same here. And if you use a short scope, it'll still fit on the original case;

Just got mine about 3 weeks ago. I am not a big 10/22 fan I have a blued and a stainless, but I have always been 'Mneh" about them. The td stock is a much better feeling one and when I tested it against the iron sighted blued model it was more accurate with 3 brands of ammo, and noticably so.
If you have ever seen "Support your local gunfighter" I was like James Garner at the roulette wheel "Something just comes over me" when I bought it. It turned out for the good though. I think it's a winner.

I love mine too!
It fits together VERY tight and comes with a nice backpack case!:wow: I am very impressed with Ruger on this one, they did it right.
