View Full Version : Tribute pistols
I received the September issue of the 1st Freedoom magazine from the NRA, and as usual there is a add for a Anniversay Tribute Pistol. This one is for a Colt 1911, it is a beautiful piece of work. My question is if you buy one of these for $1995.00, what do you do with it?
Do you put it on display or take it out and shoot it?QUOTE][/QUOTE]

Colt WWII Commemoratives
Pacific and European Theaters
They shoot great!
They are also C&R which means I can buy them through the mail with my C&R license.
If it has so much engraving you can't bring yourself to pull the trigger, go with something with less dressing. like this Beretta M9 Air Force.

All three of these pistols will go to my grandsons.
There are a lot of commemorative guns on the market that aren't priced much higher than the basic model.
Shoot 'em. Enjoy 'em.
I have friend who has a 1971 Gold cup with a serial number of 1911. NRA tribute Colt. The bluing is unbelievable.
