Kimber CDP Change Advice

Need some advice.
I have been carrying my CDP Pro for a little over 2 1/2 years now and the finish is starting to show some wear. I'm looking to have it redone and was looking for some suggestions on what I should refinish it in.
I have never liked the two-tone look of the CDP so looking to go with one color. My favorite gun color is black so keep that in mind but not sure what finish would work best and be most durable.
Before you comment about it, I'm not concerned about the value being affected if I change it up. It's not being sold, ever.

I am getting 2 of my 1911s done in Black T. there are more scratch resistant finish out there but Black T has one of the best corrosion protection.
