#2 son was always in trouble, he had the game figured out.

He would act out and get sent to the principles office. We were called in to discuss his issues. She explained the problem and I asked "Haven't you figured out his game?"

She went blank.

I asked her to check her stash of toffee. (real good english stuff) She immediately noticed it was rather low. Then I had him empty his pockets. Full of toffee wrappers.

Act bad=office=candy

No office=no candy, so why act bad?

Problem solved.

He wasn't a bad kid, just devious.

Don't be too upset if he can't wait to go back.

The REAL question is....

How are YOU doing, BT?

Did you cry or were you strong for him?

I know I give moral support to a lot of tearful moms and dads during those first tough days of Kindergarden!

I can't BELIEVE he's already in school! :faint:

Our little monkey had her first day of 1st grade today, we home-schooled last year,. This year business is very good and I did not enjoy Homeschooling last year (I was the teacher), so we are trying public.

Hopefully she will enjoy it and learn. If not, there is a great private school a few miles away. But of course the minute I enroll her, business will probably dry up!
