Perhaps you care to elaborate? Three dates....This mean three matches or one? Have to be at all three? Is this a GSSF official match with their stages, prizes, etc? Need RO's? How're you going to run the stages with lanes so close together? Using plate racks or paper?

Interested.

The Indoor Series is a series of three matches. You must shoot two or more to be eligible for prizes and the random pistol drawing. It is totally different from outdoor matches. Even the scoring is different. You shoot under a time allowance per string. It is a 50 round match. Perfect score is a 500 with 50 X's. The only thing the same is the D-1 targets, only they are heavy paper instead of cardboard. Prizes consist of Plaques, shirts, hats, knives. Average attendance is about 35 per match.

The Indoor Series is sanctioned by GSSF but run entirely by the host range.

Can reloads be used at this range, or is only factory ammo allowed? What about Tula steel-cased 9mm? I just joined the GSSF and I'm looking forward to the match in December.
Thanks,
DAL

DAL, I'm a member there and plenty of people shoot reloads. I know they restrict steel bullets but never heard about the casings. Use the link that RLE posted at the top to contact them.

Also, the next (and second match) is this weekend, Nov 11th.
Hope you can make it.

Thanks, Dave.1. It looks like I'll be headed up there after all; in fact, I'm leaving in just a few minutes. I'm coming for the Springs, so it's at least a couple of hours one way. Oh well, it should be fun, and probably quite humbling. See you there.

Takes me about an hour to get there.

It's not humbling, it's fun!

You know, it WAS fun! The heck with the humbling part, at least I know what I need to work on before the next match, namely, 10, 15, and 25 yard shots. The 5 and 7 yards stuff, what I usually work on, went very well: all in the X-ring, except for 3 in the 10-ring. After that, though, the groups exploded, to say the least. Oh well, it was a fun learning experience. I only shot one round, but I'm planning on shooting two next time.

Man, why didn't I join GSSF years ago?

DAL,
You may want to put a magnet to your Tula bullets (the projectile). If it sticks, they are steel. A lot off folks just assume they are copper jacketed, because of the copper color of the bullet. They are lead core, but have a steel jacket. Most indoor ranges will check the ammo with a magnet.

Glad you had fun DAL.

Gperfection, I know they started checking rifle ammo but not hand gun at this point.

They have a pretty sophisticated recovery system so they probably haven't run into any problems yet.
