According to PettyOffficer's first sentence in Post # 1:
"Lookie what the mailman brought: just over 1 week with email registration."

Congrats! Just got mine yesterday. Took about a week also! Are you coming to the shoot in San Antonio in December? It will be my first GSSF event.
...Sorry you were so offended by it though

Can't make it, as I replied in your SA specific post, I have a charity half marathon I'm preparing for on Dec 2 in las Vegas. I'm going from couch to half marathon in 3 months! I'm sick of being the stereotypical fat guy on a gun forum :)... Time to get healthy.
I will be doing my best to shoot an indoor GSSF event in Dickinson starting late Oct/Nov/Dec. I'm preparing for that too: I just need to get some NRA-D1 targets for practice.
I'd like to try to do the Conroe shoot too, but that's just too far and I work in Clear Lake which is near Dickinson.

Now this picture looks better. In the original picture I thought the name on your shirt was "Yvan". :faint::embarassed: Amazing what a mirror can do.
Good luck on you half marathon, you sure have a lot of work to do in only 3 months. My wifes younger sister is doing the same thing in Columbus, Ohio in a couple months.

Yeah, amazing what a simple photoshop app on my phone can do. :)

Oh, I doubt I'll be ready to run the full length, but I'll run as much as possible. But it's a start towards a healthier lifestyle. I'm a software engineer who sits on his rump all day every day... I need to increase my activity level. After all, standing, shooting and bending over to pick up brass won't improve my cardio any.

Now you tell me!
Took me a few thousand rounds to figure out I wasn't getting any skinnier! And they call this a sport?
