I have a complete lower sitting in my safe. I'm trying to decide what to build... Should I build a long range coyote killer? Or .50 bmg or .338 lapua conversions? 300 blackout? I need Ideas. I already have an AR15 and 10 so What to do? I'm open to ideas.

After the suppressor the 300 blackout will be my next build. Your setup maybe be different than mine though. There's comfort in redundancy for me.

I really like the 300 Blackout. I'm leaning twards that now. It's hard making that decision.

Id build an AR-15 sniper set up. Get a 24" barrel, timmney trigger, and a leupold 4-12 power scope. Add a bi-pod, free fload handguard, and maybe the magpul prs stock.

I like your thinking.

I'm waiting on the 300 blk until i can get an SBR. Stupid IL. Well you already have an ar10...that that could be the long range coyote killer. Maybe you need a medium range coyote killer?

I use the AR 10 for wild boar... That thing would make a mess out of a coyote. lol.... I need to try it.

Not much reason to go past a 20" barrel, honestly, unless you're handloading and using a bolt action set up for ultra heavy or VLD bullets.

+1 Build a 5.56 AR setup for long range shooting. 20 inch heavy profile upper, free floated, nice glass, nice trigger.

That's what I'm working on right now, though I can't really spring for great glass.

I'd got for a medium weight fluted 18" before the heavy profile 20", personally.

I've got a Burris Fullfield II 4.5-14x on my SPR, and its a fantastic scope for the money($300). Its honestly as nice as some Leupolds I have used for a fraction of the price. When I bought it, it was just going to be temporary until I had the money for a Trijicon Accu-point, but its such a nice scope and fits all my needs I decided to keep it, and spend the money I saved on ammo.

Yeah, if I were to do it all over again with my SPR build thats what I would have done.

Good call on that. I want to build one of those someday.
