Best of luck in your recovery and for your wife as well.
What antibiotics are they hitting it with.
EDIT: Just noticed the date. Ten years ago. Glad to see you doing alright.

That is some scary stuff there for sure. What a nightmare that must have been.
hey John, I just checked to set up my DVR and the show is titled
"my child only eats cat food" ...are you part of that episode?
tehan2, yes, we are the third part of that section.

So how does the plague go for rodents to you and your wife? Did you get some cats to kill the vermin?
RenoF250, one only gets bubonic plague from being bitten by a flea that has been on a rodent that has the plague. Santa Fe County is the epicenter of the plague in North America.
Cats will not help. We live in the country 12 miles from the City of Santa Fe on five acres. If a cat is let outside, the owls and coyotes will eat it within the hour. The same for small dogs.

robin303, we were in the dark days in a NYC hospital 10 years ago. I am sorry for the confusion. See www.johnandlucinda.com for clarification.
jtull7 is tougher than THE plague. In Texas talk, that is like being tougher than a one balled rattlesnake trying to swaller' a horse!
It has been said, when Chuck Norris goes to bed, he check under his bed for jtull7!

Also, Mr Tull,
What is a Bilateral trans-tibial amputee? And did that have anything to do with the plague?

DaneA, NeverMore1701 answered your question perfectly.
And, yes, it had everything to do with plague. Plague causes massive blood clotting in the extremities, which causes gangrene, which causes amputations. If no amputation, it causes death.

Wow! All The best to both of you.
BTW, I have lost 50 pounds since the program was filmed. I feel great.
Lately, the highest compliment I can give is "That's Tull!"
